Providing clean, affordable and sustainable energy solutions to inhabitants in remote communities who have no access to the national electricity grid has always been a core mission of AndEm Energy.

o achieve this, AndEm Energy conducted feasibility studies in about 50 inland and Island off-grid communities across the regions in Ghana. Emphasis was given to communities in the Bono East and Krachi west districts. This was done to understand the energy needs of the people, their willingness to pay and maintain their own power supply system.

This project is still ongoing and any party (Government and Non-Governmental-Organization) interested could collaborate with us to expand it on a larger scale to reach out to the disadvantaged people in the remote communities to achieve the 100% rural electrification target.T

AndEm Energy as part of its rural electrocution campaign project has designed two Energy Solutions Packages following the feasibility studies to meet the energy requirement of all people living in remote communities.

  1. Package One: 12Volt DC solar home system with 200Wp, 150Ah battery, with three 5W led bulbs to provide the basic energy need for the people living in the off-grid communities. The solar home system is integrated with two slots for charging mobile phones, an inbuilt radio set
    and a flash drive slot for music.
  2. Package Two: this package includes package one plus an additional 15W,12volt DC standing fun, 15W, 12volt DC Television Set and satellite receiver.

GM Bamboo Eco-City Ltd. is a fully integrated Urban Farm Eco-City design, investment, development and management Limited Liability Company based in Ghana. GM Bamboo is  developing the world’s first largest affordable Bamboo & Lime Brick/Block Composite Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Tourism and Recreational Facilities Eco-Cities that fully integrated with Greenhouses, Indoor and Vertical Farms to solve the following chronic problems:

  • Chronic affordable housing deficit
  • Unemployment and rural to urban migration
  • Climate Change

Group of the AndEm team consultant are leading the feasibility studies and developed a roadmap for a 100% renewable energy solution for the Bamboo Eco-city to meet the objective of the project.

 

10Kw hybrid solar systems-Tarkwa GPRTU

Tarkwa GPRTU is a branch of the GPRTU  trade union that provides guards to commercial vehicle owners in Ghana. Due to frequent power outages, rising energy bills and requirements for continuous power supply, Tarkwa GPRTU approach AndEm Energy to find a sustainable solution to their situation.

AndEm Energy designed and installed a cost-effective 10Kwp solar PV hybrid system with battery backup to meet their energy demand during their operating hours.  If grid failure occurs, the solar power system will not shut down. Instead, the system designed will isolate the grid supply and switched on the battery. 

We offer a broad range of services to support our clients with sustainable energy solutions
